The Bermuda Sailing Association (BSA) is the National Governing Body for the sport of sailing within Bermuda. It is a Member National Authority (MNA) under World Sailing. BSA is a registered charity in Bermuda. It works to administer and govern the sport; to provide access to the sport; and to support developing and elite sailors. The BSA membership is made up of the various clubs, classes, and associations that in turn engage with sailors, officials, coaches, and other interested individuals.


The objects of the Association shall be –

  • To promote and administer the sport of Sailing in all its branches in Bermuda;
  • To promote competition in Sailing internationally;
  • To take such steps to become a Member of World Sailing and to affiliate with other National and International Associations as may be required;
  • To serve as the National body for the advancement of Sailing throughout Bermuda; and
  • To represent sailing interests to the Government of Bermuda.
